Instagram launches initial test of NFT display options, also coming soon to Facebook
Based on at least some recent numbers, the air seems to be blowing out of the initial NFT bubble, which means that if Meta wants to launch at the end of the hype, it needs to launch the NFT storefront features now. .
As such, it’s no surprise to see that Instagram’s in-development NFT display options are now getting an initial release.
As announced by Instagram boss Adam Mosseri, IG launches a first test of its new NFT features with selected designers in the United States. The process will include integrations for Ethereum and Polygon, with additional support for Flow and Solana to come. NFT owners will be able to connect their Rainbow, Trust Wallet and MetaMask accounts to verify NFT ownership.
Users will be able to post their NFTs on the main IG feed, in stories, or in direct messages. Although there will also be a new NFT tab added to participating accounts, with a checkmark in a hexagon to indicate verified NFTs.

You can see in this image that the hex tick indicator will also be included on NFT images posted to your main post feed.
Instagram has been developing the option since June last year, with initial examples showing how IG could not only showcase your NFTs, but also facilitate NFT sales, merging with the broader market for digital goods.

You can see in this example how NFT auctions could potentially be integrated into the process, providing a more comprehensive connection to the wider NFT market.
Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg also spoke about the potential of NFTs and the expanded role digital goods will play in the upcoming Metaverse shift, with the clothes you dress your digital avatars in potentially minted as NFTs. and linked to your digital identity.
But as noted, NFT trading has been steadily declining since its initial hype period. A recent Wall Street Journal report noted that there has been a 92% drop in NFT sales since September and an 88% drop in active wallets since November.
This reduced demand has also caused the value of some big name NFTs to plummet.
According to WSJ:
“An NFT of Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey’s first tweet was sold in March 2021 for $2.9 million to Sina Estavi, the chief executive of Malaysia-based blockchain company Bridge Oracle. Earlier this year, Mr. Estavi put the NFT up for auction. He received no offers over $14,000, which he did not accept.
NFT enthusiasts have questioned these data points, suggesting they are hand-picked examples, but the larger trend, based on industry statistics and projects, suggests that NFTs are cooling off, at least in their current form.
Which is probably the most critical point. As Zuckerberg notes, the potential of NFTs extends far beyond the current flood of cartoonish avatar images, with seemingly thousands of “artists” throwing together all sorts of random images in hopes of take advantage of it.
These PFP (profile picture) projects do indeed appear to be losing popularity, but eventually there will be ways to use the back-end process of NFTs to display ownership of a wide range of digital assets.
So while NFTs as we currently know them appear to be on the way out, the process they embody may well become a key foundation for the next stage.
That’s probably why Meta is pushing ahead, even though people seem a bit fed up – and with so many rug pulls and ripoffs, and so many shitty “projects” in the space, it doesn’t is not surprising to see people turn away.
But there is still underlying potential, as many people are already well invested in today’s NFT space.
In addition to today’s launch, Zuckerberg also notes that NFT display options are coming to Facebook soon, along with Augmented Reality NFTs for Instagram Stories.
Will this lead to wider adoption of NFTs, or is it just a way for Meta to hang on to the initial hype phase before they die out?
We’ll find out soon, as NFTs become more widely visible in Meta’s apps.

Instagram changes its algorithm in favor of original content
It’s 2022 and the world is in the middle of a platform war. The main reasons for this? Attention, retention and creation.
Over the years, we’ve seen how Instagram has dominated the social media market and become the “official” badge for determining whether someone can be considered an influencer or even a content creator.
But a lot has changed in recent years, including the rules of the content game.
As a strategy to keep people on the platform and value creators, Instagram announced that it will update its ranking algorithm to benefit from original content.
While this may sound like exciting news, no details have yet been released on what these updates will be, how and when we can expect changes. It’s unclear whether by “original content” Instagram means rewarding creators for originality or encouraging the creation of more Instagram-only content.
We are making educated guesses on how this new update may affect sellers and content creation within the social platform.
So, keep reading as we’re going to dig deeper into that!
A war for short videos
After the COVID-19 pandemic, brands realized that in order for users to continue consuming their content, they needed to not only have a convenient interface and create great content, but do it in an original way that captures and sustains users attention. And they also saw that one of the best ways to do that was to work with creators, to win the escalation of the growing number of people consuming short videos for quick entertainment.
With this in mind, we were introduced to the two brands that are the protagonists of this platform war: Instagram and TikTok.
TikTok has become a huge hit not only because of the short video format, but also because of the dynamic ways of creating content with reactions, collaborations, and being well aligned with the music industry.
But even with all that, Instagram was still the place to get recognized as an influencer, so the most practical thing was to create content with all the tools of TikTok and repost the content on Instagram.
And what has Instagram done to prevent this? Limit the organic reach of videos with watermarks from other platforms. It didn’t work very well.
As TikTok grew in popularity over time, Instagram decided to go one step further to keep users on the platform: it shut down IGTV. The results of this? Not much really.
But over the past year, we’ve seen Instagram try to become “TikTok,” even claiming it’s no longer a photo-sharing app.
But what do all these actions have in common? None of them really focus on content creators and their experience with the platform. It basically did what the competition does and used the brand to stay on top. But we are not in 2018 and this strategy no longer works.
It took almost 2 years for the brand to realize that creators are like customers and brand promoters. If they don’t feel comfortable or don’t feel respected for their work, they’ll just go to another platform.. Finally realizing this, Instagram updated its algorithm to prioritize original content.
Originality is the key
What can we expect from it as marketers and content creators? Well, you could say it’s a small step for Instagram but a big leap for the market. According to the Instagram manager, Adam Mosseri“If you create something from scratch, you should get more credit than if you share something you found from someone else. [Como tal] We will do more to promote original content, especially in relation to content that is republished.
📣 New Resources 📣
We’ve added new ways to score and improve classification:
– Product labels
– Favorite Tags
– Originality rankingContent breeders are very important to the future of Instagram and we want to make sure they succeed and get all the credit they deserve. pic.twitter.com/PP7Qa10oJr
— Adam Mosseri (@mosseri) April 20, 2022
That’s not to say that content edited outside of the platform before being published will be penalized, according to Mosseri, “The idea is that if you’ve done it, it’s original.”
And it’s also a good thermometer to see if most videos are edited outside the platform, which means Instagram’s editing tools need improvement, so we can expect future related announcements to this new algorithm update.
For now, let’s hope what will change on Instagram in the near future. If the social channel is really trying to build a community of engaged creators, rating their work is a good place to start.
Keep in mind that this update may also hurt many accounts whose strategies are based solely on user-generated content, especially if their followers also post the same content on their profiles. But we will have to wait for future tests and tools to have an answer.

🗒 How to use templates for Instagram
Depending on the template you download you will have to use a program the specific app.
In my case, I create my designs with Canva, so I must use templates created for this tool.
But professional designers can create Instagram templates for PowerPoint, Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Canva, Figma, Crello or Adobe Creative Cloud Express (Formerly Adobe Spark Post).
Therefore, search or choose your favorite editing program and use the templates created for this tool.
Then you just have to save and fill in the texts and change images with each publication.
🛍 Your Feed is not your online store
Forget about creating a feed with a design focused on your products or services as if it were your online store. Either you are looking to add value or you can forget about growing on Instagram with the new algorithm.
Many of the templates you will find are like a sales catalog and treat Instagram like an ecommerce. Instagram doesn’t work like that anymore. We must do things well with strategy. Turns his turn thanks to content marketing with a final call to action after generating curiosity and teaching. For example using the sell method AIDA: 1. Attention, 2. Interest, 3. Desire and 4. Action.
Before posting you must answer this question: Is this post really good and does it solve a problem in a clear and step by step way?
If the answer is no then that post is useless.
📋 Conclusions
Using templates on Instagram is essential to not waste time, spend your time productively, grow on Instagram and get sales and followers.
In addition, the templates you use are key to your brand work and online reputation.
A good design says a lot about your work.
Use good templates in addition to being something very cheap or even free Mark the difference between a mediocre Instagram account and a top one.
And remember that you can always hire a Virtual Assistant to create your designs from content, publish them or take you to the networks and thus forget about all this.

Instagram product tags are now available to all users in the US.
Following its announcement late last month that all users would soon be able to use product tags in their feed posts, Instagram announced today that all users in the US can now insert product tags in their feeds.
That could lead to a lot more tags appearing on your IG feed, as Instagram explains:
“Today, we’re expanding the ability to add product tags to Feed posts to everyone in the US. Creators and brands have been sharing how they wear and design their favorite products on Instagram and inspiring their communities. We’re now giving everyone access to inspire those closest to them by enabling product tagging in posts. From supporting the brands you love to helping your friends and family discover new products they might like, sharing products on Instagram just got easier.”
As noted, Instagram announced last month that it would roll out product tags to all users, as part of its expanded push to increase e-commerce activity on the app.
Originally only available for approved creatorsBy giving everyone the ability to provide a direct link to products and brands in their uploads, that will encourage more users to share product links organically, while also prompting more people to click through and, ideally, purchase items. in the app.
Instagram has been working to fuse more shopping behaviors into its UX, by adding Shops, the shopping tab, live shopping, and more. Since the vast majority of IG users already connect with brands and get the latest product updates on the app, it makes sense to lean into this behavior, and shopping tags are another element, designed to encourage more spending on the app. application.
In addition to the ad, Instagram has also provided this overview of how to tag products in your posts.

It could provide a huge boost for brands, and with 1.6 million users tagging at least one brand, on average, every week alreadythere’s clearly a push to make this a more important element of the app experience.
Of course, it also makes IG a bit more commercial, which might put some users off. But that is a risk the platform will be willing to take.
How to backup and download your Instagram photos
Have you ever noticed how wonderful some Instagram pictures are? In some cases, you may want to download Instagram images of certain users. There may also be times when you want to bulk upload your own Instagram photos, or even keep a backup of all your Instagram photos on your computer.
Luckily, there are three easy ways to download Instagram images from your own account as well as anyone else’s. These methods include downloading images from Instagram with or without third-party apps. So, let’s take a look at these methods.
Warning: You must not download photos and video content from an account illegally or without the permission of the owner. And if you have permission, we encourage you to visibly credit the owner wherever you use their content.
5 Ways to Download Instagram Videos
There are times when you really like a video on Instagram and want to save the video to… Read more
Method #1 – Bulk Download Instagram Photos with Chrome Extension
If an Instagram user has too many photos that you want to download, you can use the Downloader for Instagram Chrome extension to easily bulk download photos from Instagram. It has a user-friendly design and the ability to select the number of photos to upload. Let’s see how to use it.
Step 1. Install Chrome Extension
Install the free Downloader for Instagram extension for the Chrome web browser.

Step 2. Bulk Upload Images
Go to the Instagram user page from which you want to download photos and click the down arrow icon in the upper right corner. Now select the range of images you want to download and click on the Download button.

Step 2.1. Upload a single image
To download a specific image, just click the Download button in the upper left corner of the image.

Method #2 – Download Multiple Instagram Photos with Browser Developer Tools
You can download any photo from Instagram using Developer Tools in Chrome, Firefox, Edge, or Safari. This method is ideal if you only need to download a few Instagram photos rather than all of them.
Step 1. Find the photo you want to upload
Go to instagram, find the photo you are looking for and click on it. This will display the photo in its floating preview mode above the user’s News Feed, as shown below:

Note that the URL in Chrome’s address bar has changed. Instead of the Instagram username URL, it will now show instagram.com/p/####
(PhotoURL).
Each Instagram photo has its own unique web address, and if you go directly to the site, it will just display the photo without the rest of the News Feed.
Step 2. Get URL of photo to download
Now right-click on the image and select Inspect from the drop-down menu. This will open the Chrome Developer Console.

Even though Chrome DevTools is aimed at developers, don’t be intimidated. To find the photo, you just need to click a few buttons.
Next, click on the Sources tab at the top, then expand the contents of the v directory by clicking on it. Each photo has its own folder where it is stored. Keep opening these folders until you find the full size image. Once you find it, right-click the file and select Open Image in New Tab.

Step 3. Download the Instagram image to your computer
Now right click on the photo and select save as option.
This way you will be able to see the Instagram photo in full size (just like the image above).
That’s it, you have your photo and can now do whatever you want with it (of course, if only the owner allows it).
Method #3 – Download Instagram Photos with Web Tool
Instagram photo download websites are one of the best solutions. They are very convenient because you can use them on any device, on your phone, laptop or PC. Plus, most of them are really easy to use.
Typically, all you have to do is copy and paste the URL, then click to download. For this guide, we will be using the iGram site to upload the photo.
Step 1. Select Image
Access the user’s Instagram account and select the image you want to upload.

Step 2. Copy the photo URL
Click the options icon in the upper right corner, then click “Copy link” to copy the photo URL.

Step 3. Paste the Image URL
Paste the image URL into the box on the iGram website.

Step 4.Click Download
Click the Upload button, select the photo width: 1080px, 750px or 640px, and your photo will be uploaded.

Conclusion
This guide tells you all about how to easily download a single or a batch of images from Instagram. It takes a little effort, but if you understand, you won’t need to use a screenshot tool or go straight to Instagram to get those photos. And don’t forget to credit the owner every time you use their content.
New report finds Instagram hashtags don’t affect post views, based on 75 million posts
Do hashtags actually help improve the reach of your posts on Instagram?
The common belief is that they do, but recently Instagram chief Adam Mosseri poured cold water on the hashtag debate by noting that hashtags doesn’t really help the views.
Instagram hashtags aren’t necessarily designed to maximize distribution, with an emphasis on categorizing content to better connect users with what they’re looking for.
But that should also help improve the range, right? Do hashtags really not influence post views?
To get some answers, the Socialinsider team recently analyzed over 75 million Instagram posts made between March 2021 and March 2022, to see what the data says about the relationship between Instagram hashtags and post views.
Research shows that the number of hashtags in an Instagram post does not influence post distribution.
As you can see in the graph below, there are no significant differences in the average engagement rate by impression values of the Instagram posts analyzed, despite the number of hashtags.
The highest average engagement rate per impressions (3.41%) is generated by posts with 3-4 hashtags. This is not surprising – Instagram itself has already noted that keeping between 3 and 5 hashtags is the best strategy to adopt when it comes to distributing posts.
But, ultimately, the number of hashtags you use doesn’t influence reach, on average, at least not significantly.
The Socialinsider team wanted to dig deeper, so they added an extra parameter in “Follower Count” to make sure we’re looking at equal comparisons.
The data shows that there are no major differences in the average impression rates of Instagram posts analyzed when looking at hashtag and follower counts together, although there are some nuances, according to the profile tracking database.

In the case of large accounts (50K and 1M followers), impression rates decrease as they use more Instagram hashtags. According to the data, the best practice for large accounts is to use 3-4 hashtags to maximize their chances of achieving the average engagement rate per impressions of (3.42%).
For smaller accounts, with 5,000-10,000 followers, more tags also equates to lower engagement, but the variance isn’t as pronounced. That said, it’s always good practice for smaller accounts to include fewer hashtags (focusing on 5-6 hashtags) to get the best engagement rates.
The same trend applies to medium-sized accounts, with 10,000-50,000 followers, which should use more than 5-6 hashtags to guarantee higher impression rates.
Of course, this all depends on your specific audience, the types of hashtags you use, and the goals you’re trying to achieve. Yet, according to this data and industry experts, Instagram hashtags do not help in the distribution of posts.
The real trick is to use the right hashtags for your target audience, so that your posts are seen by people searching for the right topics in the app. Do your research, figure out the right tags for each of your posts (based on everyone’s topics, not the same hashtags for every update), and you should always see the benefits of using hashtags.
More information on Instagram hashtags can be found in the full report.

How to get content ideas for Instagram
Running out of ideas? Don’t know what to post? Nobody comments or likes? In this article I will teach you how to get content ideas to create posts that allow you to grow on Instagram and generate sales.
To do this you must follow these steps:
What do you want to achieve with each post?
This is the first thing you should do. ask yourself what you want to achieve with each content, post, carousel, Reel or Story you publish.
Here are some examples of goals you can set for yourself:
- Make your brand known: For this you can show your achievements, products, services, events, discounts, philosophy, values, workers, facilities…
- Build trust: Customer reviews or hiring an influencer can help.
- selling a product: Teach how to use it, compare it, abbreviate it… But remember «You Instagram profile is not a showcase of products nor is it your online store“. It is not necessary to simply send photos of all the products, put the price in the description and ask them to contact you. It is necessary to create content that generates before Attention, Interest, Desire to finally make the user take Action bought
- Win followers: You can create a list of interesting accounts in your industry, create a list of applications or tools, or show a process to achieve an algorithm or solve a problem.
- get a patron: We must create content that is of interest to other brands in potential audiences. Show results of reach, growth, sales…
- Send traffic to another site: Promote an event, course, service, article, podcast, product, Telegram group… Again we will create content using the AIDA method and using our automations.
Perfect, we already know what we want to achieve and we have set a goal.
Now let’s generate ideas.
Tools to generate content ideas
with these tools you can get ideas from content to meet each of the objectives set.
- Answerthepublic.com: Possibly the best known and easiest to use tool for pulling hundreds of content ideas that won’t gain visibility.
- ubersuggest: Like Keyword Planner but keeps content ideas on and off without registration.
- google trends: We can see search trends and filter by countries, dates, interests…
- keyword planner: The best known tool in the world of SEO.
- questions that they do to you (email, comments, md, person, direct, sticker questions…)
- questions they ask comments from other competitors
- questions by Quora
- tags: #contentideas #ideas #ideasreels #ideasstories
- Checking own stats
- reviewing the statistics from others with Not Just Analytics and Metricool
- trends it is Twitter
- Contents of competitors in other languages: This is what many Twitter accounts do using the Tweet Hunter tool. From my point of view it is a complete hoax and content theft if you do not cite the source as many do.
- Listening to current podcasts. Ángel Martín, AM of Spotify. Caviar online. Marketing News in Spanish.
- news news in online newspapers. Find your industry.
- Link other news or content with your sector or product: Example of news «The Spaniards do not sleep enough». Mattresses for sale you can use part of the content.
Create content and add data
Now comes the part content creation.
Reinforce with data and scientific studies that you can get from websites like Statista.com, CSICNature, ResearchGate, SINC, BMJ or the National Statistics Institute.
They have interesting facts for free. Some examples:
Castilla y León was the autonomous community that obtained the lowest value, with a rate of 1.55 weddings per million inhabitants in 2020, while the autonomous city of Ceuta was the one that obtained the highest value with a rate of 3 , 05.
Cristiano Ronaldo sweeps Mark Zuckerberg’s social platforms. He is not only the most followed public figure on Instagram, with more than 200 million followers, but also those on Facebook with one last highlight. No less than 214 million likes are those that the Portuguese soccer player had received on his profile dated January 2021.
After closing fiscal years 2018 and 2019 with positive figures, Twitter registered negative values again in 2020. The losses of the social network founded by Jack Dorsey amounted to approximately 1,136 million dollars that year.
You have to try and find the way and content that you like and adapt to Instagram.
Always try to answer the what, how, when, where and why.
Some examples of typical content to share on Instagram:
- witnesses: You can add them in the featured Stories of your profile, normal stories and add one in a carousel format with more content. Not on reels.
- Services: You can add them in the featured Stories of your profile, normal stories and at the end of the sales funnel in a carousel using the AIDA method.
- tutorials: how to do…, steps to…
- mistakes: The biggest mistake…, common mistakes in…
- listings: leading people in your sector, apps, destinations, restaurants, food, places…
the key is in how the content is presented (for this, using Instagram templates can help you) and in differentiating what each person wants in each place.
For example we cannot create a video the same for YouTube as for Instagram. On YouTube people can start by getting a tutorial to open a do something but on Instagram people are calm to enter and follow you with content from friends because the format must be faster, more direct and more enjoyable, for example with a Reel.
AN very common mistake It is after getting the titles with the content ideas creating my content for our blog, YouTube channel and social networks.
For example, thanks to AnswerThePublic we see that many people search for “What is Digital Marketing“. Submit an article to the blog that works perfectly to appear in Google and gain visits but that content would never work on Instagram.
We can use part of the content but giving it another approach using carousel format for example and creating a list from “Best strategies to grow on Instagram»For example and adding Digital Marketing as one of them.
You must entertain and know what each person wants in each medium.
And to make it effective you have to know resume and create sales funnels.
We must also analyze the content of other accounts and your own to see what better functions. Included we can republish our best content from time to time.
Optimize the content
We have managed to attract people thanks to content that they like and draws the attention of our ideal audience or Buyer Persona.
He thinks that people want to learn and be entertained. They are not searching for that content like on Google. It should draw more attention engage more in each step. Make it easy and create a good design.
Now we must get the most out of it and for that we must automate everything with the Manychat tool.
In this way we will see create a user database With whom we can contact and have more impact with these people in an easy and simple way by asking them to comment with a specific word or to send us a private message, for example.
