This idea does not let go. It still seems like an interesting business. Here we have to look at the issue of permissions to see if a vending machine can be placed at the entrance of the premises. Something like this could already, in the greatest of cases, cover 100-150% of what has to be paid for a mortgage level.
A meeting room to rent
You could even easily take out two meeting rooms. We are obviously going to use these rooms, but they could also be rented from time to time. In San Juan there will not be as much demand as in Alicante but you never know. A related idea would be to create a room with two or three desks that could be rented on a recurring basis each month.
Offer a new fulfillment service for Amazon
Since we have a lot of experience with the topic of preparing shipments to Amazon, it is an option to choose a service of preparation and shipment to third parties. With the additional space we can do it, although it has to be something exclusive. 500m2 give for a lot but not for everything.
Rent storage space to companies or individuals
I know from experience that storage space in that location is limited. It could be an option to enable a part to be rented to third parties. A little investment would be necessary to prepare the site but it could be. I’m not entirely clear.
Although none of the mentioned ideas go ahead, we will allow ourselves the monthly payment of the new premises without problems. In the end it is equivalent to the monthly rent payment that we are having right now. Thanks to the premises we will not have growth limits caused by the limited storage space we have right now. Fun times are yet to come…
